The C02 Laser Marking Machine consists of the following components:

  • Laser Controller: Contains circuit boards, electrical components, and the operator console.
  • Umbilical Cable Assembly: Includes power and data cables.
  • Laser Marking Head: Includes the laser cavity, optics, shutter assembly, galvanometer assembly, and flat-field lens.
  • Software - Merlin® II LS Laser Marking Software.
  • System Computer: Provided by Telesis or the customer.
  • The modular design allows easy replacement of main components and return to Telesis if repair is needed.

  • Handheld pendant for convenient remote operation.
  • Coaxial red aiming diode for marking alignment.
  • Push-button station (start/abort).
  • External focus finder diode.
  • On-the-fly marking kit for interaction with customer-supplied encoder to mark moving objects.
  • Desktop or laptop computer with cardbus expansion cabinet to PCI with power supply.
  • Programmable X, Y, or Z axis (requires TMC090).

Laser Marking Head

The C02 Laser Marking Machine head incorporates the latest CO2 laser technology with a sealed tube, RF-excited, providing excellent output power, stability, and reliability in a compact, rugged modular package.

Optional Red Aiming Diode

Provides visible red light for alignment without the need for protective goggles. The pointer laser is positioned behind the shutter, allowing it to be used during the marking cycle. Please note, eye protection should always be used when the laser is active.
